We’re still at the beginning of the new year, which means a lot of people are making BIG changes in their life.
I’m one of those people! 🙋🏻♀️
Well, I’m not making huge changes but I’m trying to form new habits that will hopefully lead to those big changes.
I don’t know why but I feel like *this* is my year and I’m determined to make my life better in real, meaningful ways.
So, I started doing some new things and changing some old ways that were holding me back.
I want to feel better both physically and mentally and today I thought I’d share 3 things I’m doing every day to lead to big changes in my life. Maybe it will inspire you to do what it takes to feel better too, by making small and simple changes in your life! (:
Here are 3 things I do each day to feel good! <3
1) I work out & drink water.
This one is so simple but I had to work at it. We all know the benefits of working out; it keeps you functioning well both physically and mentally, which is something I desperately needed. Yet for some reason, I had trouble sticking with working out and making it a real habit. And that reason is because I was aiming too high and it led to me giving up. This year, I started with small workouts and built up to bigger ones naturally. This has helped me stick with it and now I look forward to it.
I never really had a problem with drinking water but I’ve upped my intake and both of these things together have left me feeling better and better as time goes on! This will help me lose weight and fix some of the physical and mental health struggles I’ve been dealing with for too long.
2) I tidy up.
Another simple one, but important for me. Physical clutter in my environment definitely leaves me feeling mentally cluttered and tired. This is an actual thing for a lot of people! If you can relate, you should do what I’ve been doing: setting a timer for 30 minutes each day to tidy things up and clean. Sometimes I even clean things that already are clean, haha. But it’s better than letting things pile up and look cluttered. This simple habit has really left me feeling more clear-headed and relaxed.
3) I create.
I already did something creative pretty much every day. BUT I’m doing it literally every day now. 🙂 I want to really build my creative business this year. I also want to spend less time playing mind-numbing video games. Don’t get me wrong, I love video games and there are actually mental benefits to playing them! I, personally, just wanted to do something more productive with some of the time that I spent on them. This will get me closer to my goals. For me, that’s crocheting, painting, drawing, writing… Creating something gives me such a sense of happiness that almost nothing else does and I want to make time for things that are important to me. This will get me closer to living my dream lifestyle.
I feel like these 3 things I do each day combined have already added a big benefit to my life. How about you? What’s something YOU do each day to feel better and make positive changes? Let’s chat in the comments! <3

Great post! I must say I try to remove myself from social media every day and I find it to be very beneficial for my health and relaxing for my day.

I aim to start my day with a short meditation to center myself, followed by a refreshing workout to energize my body. In the evening, I prioritize reading a good book to relax and unwind, ensuring a balanced and fulfilling day.

I have been doing a lot of working out, and it feels good. It is amazing how much a good workout is invigorating. It is nice to have a healthy routine like this, and I would agree they all have a positive impact.

This is a great list of things to do daily. The one out of the three that I need to be better at is tidying up.

Loving this post and my top thing too is working out and drinking lots of water. Working out actually helps me to drink lots of water which I love and the energy boost I get from working out is everything. I work out at leats 5 days a week but shoot for 6 or even 7!
