Well, here we are going into a new year again! 🎊

I always love the beginning of a year because it’s a fresh start, a clean slate, and all that. Of course, I believe any time is a good time for a fresh start when we need one. But there’s nothing quite like a new year when it comes to making changes and starting over.

Overall, 2021 was a bumpy ride for me. There were highs, but there were also very low lows. It wasn’t a great year for my mental health, but I’m hoping it was a pretty good year for my personal growth.

I’m pretty optimistic about 2022.

I have so many ideas running through my head of things I’d like to do in 2022 and I’m so excited to get started! I have so many plans and goals for my art, my blog, and my personal life.

In this post, I’m sharing the 10 most popular posts from my blog this year, in order of the number of page views they received.

I enjoyed putting this list together, and seeing which posts were the most popular gave me a little insight into what type of content I should create next year. 😊

I also want to take this time to thank anyone who has been reading this blog. It’s still a tiny new baby blog but I’m thankful for anyone who wants to see what I have to say here! <3

But for now, here’s the best of Tami Creates from 2021!

1.) 30 Creative Hobby Ideas for Better Mental Health – In this post, I talked about the benefits of engaging in a creative hobby, and I also shared 30 creative hobby ideas if you don’t know what to do. I also shared resources for getting started with each hobby. I think this is my favorite blog post I’ve shared to date, so I’m glad it was the most popular! (:

2.) A Beginner’s Guide to Tarot Cards (Free Printable) – I’ve been getting into magic this year and I wanted to share what I’ve been learning on the blog. In this post, I created a complete beginner’s guide to tarot cards, made a graphic with card meanings, and shared a free printable of spread ideas. I put a lot of work into this post and I’m glad people were interested in magic like me!

3.) Acrylic Painting for Beginners: Must-Have Supplies – Acrylic painting is my biggest hobby – maybe tied with this blog, haha. But that’s one of the biggest topics I’ve talked about on this blog. In this post, I shared my must-have supplies for acrylic painting in case anyone else was interested in trying out this hobby. I’m also glad that this was in the top 3 most popular!

4.) Stop a Panic Attack in Its Tracks: 7 Things That Help Me – Panic attacks are something I struggled with A LOT this year, unfortunately. I know how f*cking terrifying they can be, so I really wanted to share my experience with them, and 7 things that help me when I’m in the midst of one. I really hope this post helped other people with the same struggles as me!

5.) 11 Ways to Develop Your Creativity – As someone who loves art, I struggle with not feeling “creative enough” sometimes. So, I thought it would be interesting to do some research and share 11 ways to develop your creativity. I know this is something that holds a lot of people back from even trying to create in the first place, so I’m hoping it can help people face that fear.

6.) Painting Vinyl Records – This was my first sort of how-to post on the blog! I love painting vinyl records, so I shared my process for doing it in this post. It’s fun to paint on a surface that isn’t just paper or canvas, haha. And I love the way they turned out!

7.) A Look Inside My 2022 Bullet Journal – I’m so happy that this one is #7 because it’s a post that I had a lot of fun putting together! In this post, I shared a look at some of the spreads that I created to start off my 2022 bullet journal. I actually have plans to share more bullet journal content this year, so it’s good to know that this was well-received!

8.) 40 Ways to Manage Anxiety (Free Printable!) – This was a big post for me to create and I loved it! As I said, I struggle with anxiety and panic. So, I decided to share 40 ways to help manage it and maybe decrease the number of attacks you have. I also created a free printable to go along with the post, so you can always keep the list handy!

9.) My 7 Favorite Podcasts Right Now – I’m actually surprised that this post even made it to the top 10, haha. It was just a fun little look into me and my life that I wanted to share. I shared my 7 favorite podcasts at the moment, 6 of which are true-crime podcasts of course. 😂

10.) How to Create a Vision Board that Works for You – I’ve always thought vision boards were fun, interesting, and inspiring. So in this post, I shared how to create a vision board that works for YOU. I think it’s important to customize your vision board to your intentions and goals, instead of just gathering random pretty pictures as you see all over the internet.

What post is your favorite from this list? How was your 2021? What’s your biggest goal for 2022? Let’s chat in the comments!
